Content Specialist (Student)

Overview

This is a remote contractor role focused on evaluating short-form humor aimed at North American teenagers. The work is project-based and offers flexible hours, with an expected engagement length of one month.

What You’ll Do

• Assess humorous short content such as memes, videos, social posts, and scripts that are popular with teens in North America.
• Score each piece of content using factors like cultural relevance, relatability, originality, and how easy it is to understand.
• Compare items in a set and order them by how appealing they are likely to be.
• Write clear explanations of what makes something funny, awkward, outdated, or hard to follow.
• Use knowledge of North American teen slang, trends, and social behavior when reviewing material.
• Spot repeated comedy patterns and broader cultural themes within teen communities.

Requirements

• Applicants must be 18 to 19 years old.
• Strong awareness of North American teen internet culture and humor is essential.
• You should be able to judge humor objectively rather than based only on personal taste.
• Comfort with explaining your analysis clearly in writing is required.
• Strong focus, consistency, and attention to detail are important for this role.
