About Revel
Revel develops the software backbone that runs some of the most mission-critical hardware environments in the world, spanning aerospace, energy, and advanced manufacturing.
Its platform modernizes legacy tooling with a fast, reliable, and high-performance system for commanding, observing, and deploying real-world hardware. Teams use Revel when safety, precision, speed, and clarity are non-negotiable.
As the company grows, it is hiring a Content Marketing Writer to shape the narrative around how its software supports the engineers building the next generation of hard technology.
Role Overview
This position calls for a flexible content marketer who can act as Revel’s voice across external channels. The role is highly visible and focused on turning technical detail into persuasive, easy-to-understand stories that position Revel as a leading platform for critical hardware operations.
You will manage content across multiple formats, including customer case studies, blog posts, social content, and more. A key part of the job will be creating in-depth customer stories and content that showcases the connection between Revel’s product and advanced hardware environments, including rocket engine test facilities.
What You Will Be Doing
- Convert complex technical updates into clear, engaging writing for both technical readers and senior decision-makers by working closely with engineers.
- Develop customer stories, testimonials, and case studies in collaboration with clients and test engineers to demonstrate measurable real-world value.
- Maintain the content pipeline by planning and publishing recurring material such as customer stories, launch communications, company updates, and thought leadership.
- Repurpose core ideas and long-form articles into a variety of marketing assets, including social media content, blog posts, and conference session concepts.
- Work across teams by partnering with marketing leadership, designers, product teams, and engineers to ensure accuracy and strong presentation.
Must-Have Experience
- 3 to 5 years of experience in copywriting, content marketing, journalism, or public relations; strong junior candidates with 1 to 2 years of relevant experience may also be considered.
- Ability to write credibly about highly technical or hard-tech topics such as aerospace, defense, engineering, or industrial software.
- Solid understanding of how content supports brand building and the broader marketing funnel.
- Strong learning agility and the ability to quickly absorb a complex technical subject and produce trustworthy content.
Nice to Have
- Experience in a high-growth startup or within aerospace or defense.
- Background in running corporate social media channels and growing an audience.
- Exposure to public relations, executive communications, or engineering.
- Experience with social media management.
Team and Exposure
You will report to the Director of Marketing and collaborate closely with design, product leaders, and test engineers. The role provides uncommon exposure to hardware testing in the field; you may spend time virtually and occasionally on site at locations such as rocket engine test stands to observe the product in action. You will have meaningful ownership over how Revel’s brand is perceived externally.
ITAR Requirements
To meet U.S. export control regulations, applicants must be one of the following: a U.S. citizen or national, a U.S. lawful permanent resident (green card holder), a refugee under 8 U.S.C. 1157, an asylee under 8 U.S.C. 1158, or otherwise eligible to receive the necessary authorization from the U.S. Department of State.
Why Revel
- Contribute to breakthrough technology that affects critical infrastructure and demanding industries, with strong early momentum.
- Own the brand voice and content strategy with a high degree of autonomy.
- Work side by side with some of the strongest engineers in the field.
