About the company
Prommt is a Dublin scale-up that helps large global merchants collect payments when their customers are not physically in store. Its payment request platform delivers a quick, secure, and smooth bank or card checkout journey through email, text, chat, or a single API for ecommerce and in-app payments. The solution is designed to improve payment completion rates while lowering payment processing costs, and reducing exposure to chargebacks and fraud.
Role overview
In this role, you will partner with the current onboarding team and act as the link between sales and day-to-day operations. Your focus will be on making sure new clients are brought live without friction, onboarding projects stay on track, and integrations are delivered to a high standard. You will work with teams across the business to maintain a strong client experience during the important stage after a deal is closed.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and keep track of onboarding projects so they are delivered on time, remain within scope, and meet client expectations.
- Own the client onboarding journey by identifying requirements, setting up solutions, and delivering training and support to enable a smooth move onto the platform.
- Work with clients on payment gateway setup, API configuration, and technical issue resolution throughout onboarding.
- Act as the main contact for onboarding clients, share progress updates, manage expectations, and keep all parties aligned.
- Prepare and update onboarding documents, while also improving workflows and processes to strengthen the client experience.
- Coordinate closely with Sales, Product, and Customer Success to ensure a clean handover and shared understanding of client needs.
Required experience and qualifications
The ideal candidate brings 3 to 5 years of experience in client onboarding, support, implementation, or project management, ideally gained in payments, SaaS, or ERP environments. You should be comfortable with payment gateway setup and troubleshooting, and have a solid grasp of API integrations, including explaining technical requirements and resolving issues. Strong communication, relationship-building, organisation, and problem-solving skills are essential. A bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or a related area is preferred.
