Business Intelligence Analyst

Role Overview

This is a remote, part-time position for a Business Intelligence Analyst. The role focuses on collecting, examining, and interpreting data from different sources to inform both strategic and day-to-day business decisions.

What You’ll Do

• Assemble, maintain, and refine data models that support analysis and reporting.
• Create, improve, and manage dashboards that make information easy to understand and use.
• Use business intelligence platforms to produce reports, insights, and decision-support outputs.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand what information they need and turn those needs into analytical solutions.
• Share findings in a clear, practical format that can be acted on by decision-makers.
• Help improve data quality, performance tracking, and reporting practices over time.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical ability to evaluate complex datasets and spot trends, patterns, and meaningful insights.
• Experience building data models for reporting, analysis, and dashboard design.
• Hands-on capability in dashboard development and data visualization.
• Working knowledge of business intelligence tools used for extracting, transforming, analyzing, and reporting data.
• Business analysis skills to capture stakeholder needs and align outputs with business objectives.
• Exposure to SQL, visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau, and spreadsheet applications is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote part-time setup.
• A bachelor’s degree in data science, business, information systems, statistics, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
