Role overview
This opportunity is for a partner organization that will handle applications and the hiring process. The role is based in Germany and supports the customer onboarding journey for complex HR and payroll software. As an Associate Implementation Consultant, you will help new clients adopt and integrate the platform in a clear, organized, and value-focused way.
You will serve as a dependable project coordinator throughout the first implementation phase, working closely with teams across product, engineering, and operations. The position is fully remote, fast-moving, and international, so it calls for strong coordination, communication, and ownership. Your work will connect customer needs with practical implementation plans and help ensure a smooth transition from kickoff to handover. This role has a direct impact on customer satisfaction, product adoption, and long-term retention, and it is well suited to someone who enjoys structured problem-solving and stakeholder management across several workstreams.
Key responsibilities
- Manage client implementation projects from start to finish, keeping onboarding on track and helping deliver milestones on time.
- Serve as the main contact point during implementation, ensuring clear communication between customers and internal stakeholders.
- Support the handoff from sales to implementation so that customer expectations, context, and commitments are fully aligned.
- Set up and run kickoff meetings, planning sessions, and progress reviews with the relevant parties.
- Monitor project status, keep records up to date, and make sure next steps are visible to both clients and internal teams.
- Work with product, engineering, and support functions to resolve issues that arise during implementation.
- Ensure a smooth transfer to customer success once onboarding is completed.
- Spot opportunities to improve processes and provide input that strengthens implementation tools and workflows.
- Help customers understand and adopt platform features by guiding them through the onboarding process.
Requirements
- At least 1 to 3 years of experience in customer-facing work such as project coordination, implementation, onboarding, or account support.
- Ability to juggle several projects and stakeholders at once in a structured, organized way.
- Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken, with the ability to tailor messages for different audiences.
- Comfort with asking thoughtful questions to understand customer needs, goals, and technical environments.
- Experience collaborating across product, engineering, and customer success or similar cross-functional teams.
- Readiness to work in a fast-paced, remote, and changing environment with a high sense of responsibility.
- Exposure to SaaS, HR technology, or global employment solutions is an added advantage.
- Analytical and solution-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem solving.
- Interest in global teams, remote collaboration, and modern HR or people operations is beneficial.
Benefits and compensation
- Expected annual gross pay of about €34,750 to €39,100, depending on experience and location.
- Entirely remote setup with the freedom to work from anywhere.
- Flexible hours and an asynchronous-first way of working.
- Stock options included as part of the long-term incentive package.
- Substantial learning and development funding to support career growth.
- Support for home office setup and work equipment.
- Access to mental health and well-being resources.
- 16 weeks of paid parental leave, along with family-friendly policies.
- Flexible paid time off to help maintain work-life balance.
- Allowance for local coworking spaces or team meetups.
- Chance to work in a globally distributed, diverse, and innovation-led environment.
