Overview
Specsavers is seeking an experienced Administrator for its store in Ennis, County Clare. The role is suited to someone who is enthusiastic, dependable, and comfortable providing a welcoming first point of contact for customers. Formal qualifications are not the main focus; the team is looking for a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
This position also offers the chance to build a long-term career. Once settled into the administrator role, there are opportunities to develop through training in other business areas, with support from experienced Opticians and Technicians.

What the role involves
- Responding to incoming phone calls and customer enquiries.
- Confirming appointments and checking entitlement for PRSI- or Medical Card-funded appointments.
- Handling questions related to contact lenses, processing contact lens payments, and setting up direct debits for contact lens orders.
- Submitting HSE Medical Card claims and reconciling Medical Card and HSE payments.
- Supporting PR activity and coordination tasks.
