नोकरीचे वर्णन
About the studio
This interior design practice is known for award-winning work on premium hospitality, residential, and commercial projects throughout New Zealand and the Pacific. The team is guided by a clear design direction and focuses on shaping spaces that feel refined, immersive, and commercially effective without losing sight of aesthetics or functionality.
Role overview
The studio is hiring a Visualisation Designer to transform design concepts into persuasive imagery that helps projects come alive. You will work alongside the design team to turn drawings, concepts, and material selections into photorealistic visuals that clearly express the intended design story.
This position calls for more than rendering proficiency alone. The ideal candidate will bring a strong design eye, with a sharp sense of composition, mood, lighting, atmosphere, and the small details that make a visual feel both believable and emotionally engaging. The studio mainly works in Revit and uses Enscape for visualisation, and it is looking for someone who can elevate the quality of its outputs—preferably by extracting models from Revit for high-end rendering and, where needed, feeding model information back into documentation workflows. Depending on the right candidate, the role may expand into design work, documentation support, and project leadership.
Key responsibilities
Produce interior visuals that are polished and photorealistic for concept, design development, and presentation phases.
- Develop visual stories that convey mood, materiality, and the experience of moving through a space.
- Create still images, walkthroughs, animations, and other presentation assets as required.
- Construct and update accurate 3D models using drawings, CAD files, sketches, and reference material.
- Apply textures, materials, lighting, and styling to deliver a studio-quality finish.
- Work closely with designers and directors so the imagery reflects the intended project direction.
- Assist with testing design options across finishes, materials, furniture, lighting, and layouts.
- Support presentation packs, award entries, and marketing materials.
- Keep file systems, asset libraries, and rendering workflows tidy and well organised.
- Stay informed about new visualisation tools, including AI-enabled workflows and emerging technologies.
Experience and skills
The studio is seeking someone with at least 2 years of experience in an interior design, architecture, or visualisation environment. Strong capability in photorealistic rendering is essential, with 3ds Max plus V-Ray or Corona preferred. Working knowledge of Revit or Rhino is also important.
A strong portfolio showing high-quality visualisation work and a refined sense of design is expected. You should also be comfortable using Photoshop and InDesign for post-production, and be able to interpret plans, elevations, sections, and other design documentation. The role suits someone who can manage several deadlines at once in a busy studio setting.
Additional strengths
- Wider design and documentation capability, especially within Revit, will be an advantage.
- Experience using AI tools to improve visualisation output or streamline workflows is desirable.
What the studio offers
You will have the chance to contribute to high-end projects across New Zealand and the Pacific while working in a collaborative environment that values creativity, craftsmanship, and exceptional design.
