This role offers practical exposure to digital content workflows, content management, website testing, metadata and tagging, and documentation. You will work with project, change, data, and communications specialists, making it a strong fit for someone who is detail-oriented, curious, and keen to build a base in digital communications, data systems, and public service delivery.
What you will be doing

- Reviewing information for accuracy, structure, and usability.
- Supporting configuration, testing, and processing tasks for the new site.

- Recording issues clearly and helping the team resolve them.
- Following project instructions and contributing to documentation.
- Collaborating with project and communications teams in a structured environment.
What you will need
- A relevant tertiary qualification, study in progress, or equivalent experience gained in a related setting.
- Comfort using common office tools and Microsoft applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, online meeting platforms, and chat tools.
- Clear written and spoken communication skills, along with strong reading comprehension and the ability to adapt writing for different audiences.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and an analytical approach to checking content and test results.
- Willingness to learn, seek clarification, follow direction, and work both independently and with oversight.
- Good people skills and a constructive, team-focused attitude.
- Interest in data, digital content, websites, or the use of information to support better decisions; prior CMS exposure such as Drupal would be helpful but is not required.

This opportunity is suited to candidates who are eligible to work in Aotearoa New Zealand and who are interested in building experience in website support, digital content, and public sector work. A valid work permit or visa is required. Applicants should be willing to undergo background and other pre-employment checks.
