Warehouse Operative / VNA Driver

Role Overview

A full-time, permanent opportunity is available for an experienced VNA Driver to support a busy warehouse operation in East Cork, County Cork. The position reports to the Warehouse Manager and combines forklift driving with general warehouse duties in a fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Use VNA, reach truck, and counterbalance forklifts to load and unload palletised stock.
• Transfer goods safely and efficiently around the warehouse.
• Work with scanning tools and keep stock information accurate and up to date.
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for dispatch.
• Handle stock through tasks such as labelling, wrapping, and pallet building.
• Keep the warehouse tidy and maintain good housekeeping standards.
• Support stock takes and inventory checks when needed.
• Follow all food safety, quality, and health and safety procedures.
• Take part in training and ongoing improvement activities.

Requirements

• Current VNA certification and proven experience are essential.
• Experience operating reach truck and counterbalance forklifts would be an advantage.
• Prior experience in warehousing or logistics is preferred.
• You should have strong attention to detail and a clear focus on safe working practices.
• Ability to contribute effectively in a team within a busy, high-pressure setting.
• A minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience is required.

Package

• Annual salary of €30,000 to €35,000.
• Pension scheme available after successful completion of probation.
