Role overview

Effy Jewelry is looking for a creative and highly organized Visual Merchandising Coordinator to support the execution of visual merchandising programs. In this role, you will manage fixture and prop sourcing, oversee project schedules, maintain trackers and databases, and act as the main liaison between the visual merchandising team, vendors, and stores. The position calls for someone who can work independently, solve problems proactively, and bring strong Excel and project coordination capabilities to the table.

This role is based at the New York City headquarters and requires working onsite five days per week.

Key responsibilities

• Handle the full lifecycle of sourcing and distributing fixtures, props, and other visual merchandising assets for all programs, including special initiatives and holiday launches, while choosing vendors and quantities based on project needs.
• Coordinate closely with logistics, suppliers, and internal teams to monitor orders, follow shipments, address delivery challenges independently, and decide when issues need to be escalated before they affect timelines.
• Manage the sampling workflow for new fixtures, props, and related materials by reviewing options, guiding vendor communication, gathering feedback, and advising Visual Management on the best final choice.
• Maintain ownership of project trackers, databases, and reporting systems, set clear accuracy standards, define reporting frequency, and share useful project updates and analysis with stakeholders.
• Spot workflow bottlenecks and operational inefficiencies in visual merchandising processes and independently create and apply improvements that strengthen vendor performance and project delivery.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, or a closely related discipline is preferred.
• At least 1 to 3 years of experience in visual merchandising, retail operations, or project coordination.
• Strong command of Microsoft Excel; familiarity with project management platforms is an added advantage.
• Proven experience handling vendors and coordinating logistics.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, make practical decisions, and juggle several priorities at once.
• Well-developed organizational, analytical, and interpersonal abilities.
• Willingness to travel when needed for store visits, vendor meetings, and visual merchandising work.

Compensation and employment details

The annual salary for this role is between USD 50,000 and USD 65,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
