Role overview

Qatar Airways is looking to add an Upholsterer - Workshops to its MRO engineering team in Doha. This position focuses on aircraft furnishing work and component upkeep in a maintenance environment where quality, safety, and compliance are critical.

Key responsibilities

Build and restore aircraft component furnishings as required by workshop operations.
Complete assigned tasks within the expected turnaround time.
Carry out all work in line with company quality expectations and technical standards.
Maintain full compliance with airworthiness and safety requirements, including manufacturer guidance.
Follow regulatory maintenance rules, including EASA/QCAA Part 145 requirements, while performing component maintenance.

Qualifications and experience

High School qualification, Bachelor’s Degree, or an equivalent credential, along with at least 2 years of relevant job experience.
Prior hands-on exposure to upholstery work is required.
Ability to use, operate, and look after tools or equipment related to the work area.
Understanding of equipment maintenance, correct operation, and safe handling practices.
