Role overview
The MICE Ticketing Officer will oversee flight reservations and ticketing for both domestic and international travel linked to corporate groups, Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE). The position covers individual and group bookings, ticket issuance and changes, cancellations, refund processing, and close coordination with airlines and internal teams to keep travel plans running smoothly for delegates and corporate clients.
Key responsibilities
- Arrange domestic and international air bookings for MICE groups and corporate travelers using GDS tools.
- Carry out ticket issuance, reissuance, cancellations, and refund processing as per airline rules and fare conditions.
- Organize group seat allotments, reservations, and travel schedules for conferences, exhibitions, incentive tours, and corporate programs.
- Work with airlines on group fares, schedule updates, name corrections, special service requests, and ticket amendments.
- Check that passenger information, travel papers, visa-related details, and ticketing entries are correct.
- Track airline queues, time limits, booking cut-offs, and follow up on group reservations.
- Support the MICE Sales and Operations teams with fare options, quotations, and travel planning.
- Respond to urgent ticketing needs, itinerary changes, and on-ground operational support during MICE events.
- Keep complete and accurate records of bookings, ticketing actions, cancellations, refunds, and reissues.
- Follow airline regulations, fare policies, company rules, and client service standards.
- Provide prompt assistance to customers, event coordinators, and internal teams on ticketing queries.
Qualifications and experience
The role is open to graduates from any discipline, with 2 to 4 years of experience in airline ticketing preferred, especially in MICE or corporate travel. Experience with domestic and international group ticketing will be an advantage.
Mandatory requirements
- Hands-on experience with GDS platforms such as Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre.
- Strong understanding of airline fare building, group ticketing, ticket issuance, reissuance, cancellations, and refunds.
- Knowledge of group booking workflows and international travel documentation.
- Exposure to corporate travel and MICE operations will be beneficial.
Skills and performance expectations
- Strong verbal and written communication with good interpersonal ability.

- High accuracy and strong attention to detail in all ticketing transactions.
