Overview
Atlassian is looking for a Senior Solution Consultant with a Cloud Platform focus to join its Advisory Services Delivery team as an individual contributor. This role is centered on helping enterprise and strategic customers achieve better business outcomes through Atlassian products, practices, and solutions.
About the Team
The Advisory Services group is a globally distributed organization made up of Atlassian specialists who work with large, complex customers. The team helps these organizations maximize the value of their Atlassian investment by providing trusted technical and strategic guidance that supports successful delivery and adoption.
Atlassian gives employees flexibility in where they work, including office-based, remote, or mixed arrangements, depending on location and legal entity availability.
What You Will Do
- Work closely with peers in Advisory Services to agree on strategic goals and deliver high-quality customer outcomes.
- Support customers in solving business problems and reaching their objectives through Atlassian tools, practices, and solution design.
- Build strong expertise in industry trends and solution patterns, and keep your knowledge current as best practices evolve.
- Develop solution materials and prescriptive technical recommendations that help customers achieve desired results across Atlassian solution areas.
- Partner with internal non-customer-facing teams to represent customer needs and push for innovative solutions aligned to business priorities.
- Travel up to 30% of the time within the country and, in some cases, internationally for internal and customer-facing engagements.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate brings deep experience in Atlassian Cloud platforms and customer-facing consulting. This role requires someone who can influence stakeholders ranging from technical administrators to senior executives and translate product capability into business value.
Additional Requirements and Preferences
- 6 to 8 years of experience working in SaaS companies.
- At least 5 years in customer-facing roles involving influence and stakeholder management across technical and executive audiences.
- Hands-on experience administering Atlassian Cloud environments, including Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence, Guard, Focus, Rovo, and related tools.
- Working knowledge of SaaS architecture, integration approaches, and security considerations.
- Experience with cloud migration activities across different customer sizes, including migration tools and hybrid SaaS/on-premises deployment models.
- Exposure to well-known ITSM products and enterprise IT operations tools within the Atlassian ecosystem.
- Experience identifying, evaluating, deploying, or integrating ITSM tools that meet customer needs and improve user experience.
- Strong English communication skills; knowledge of a second language such as Bahasa, Thai, or Mandarin is a plus for business communication.
- Comfort with coaching best practices and adapting guidance for different stakeholder groups.
- Background working across teams such as Sales, Product, Support, and other internal partners.
- Prior experience supporting large customers in a consulting or technical specialist role is preferred.
