The position is a practical leadership role for a supply chain professional with deep manufacturing experience. It suits someone who enjoys working across planning, forecasting, inventory, procurement, ERP tools, and manufacturing support in a dynamic environment with a high level of operational complexity.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee purchasing, planning, inventory control, and broader supply chain coordination.
- Keep production schedules supported through careful material planning and stock management.
- Manage the trade-off between forecasts, inventory goals, supplier performance, and manufacturing needs.
- Use MRP and ERP planning workflows to strengthen operational results.
- Create reports, track KPIs, and generate operational insights using ERP systems and Excel.
- Identify opportunities to improve planning accuracy, inventory efficiency, and supply chain performance.
- Work closely with manufacturing, operations, procurement, and leadership stakeholders.
Experience and Qualifications
- At least 10 years of experience in manufacturing supply chain roles.
- Minimum 5 years of experience leading teams in manufacturing environments.
- Strong working knowledge of production planning, inventory control, forecasting, supplier management, and manufacturing operations support.
- Proficiency with advanced Excel tools, including pivot tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, dashboards, reporting, and complex formulas.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as AS400, Oracle, Epicor, Microsoft Dynamics, CMS, or comparable manufacturing platforms.
Ideal Candidate Profile
We are looking for someone who is comfortable solving supply chain challenges in a manufacturing environment, improving performance across operational processes, and guiding execution within a highly integrated business.
