About the Company

CEVA Logistics is a worldwide supply chain provider that links people, products, and businesses across the globe. Operating in more than 170 countries, with a workforce of over 110,000 and 1,500+ sites, the company is recognised as one of the world’s top 5 third-party logistics providers.

Its teams focus on building smarter, safer, and more sustainable ways to support customers in a constantly changing world.

Role Overview

As a Supply Chain Planner in the Contract Logistics team at Rosedale, Auckland, you will support a major telecommunications client by making sure handsets, modems, SIM cards, and related products are delivered to stores and channel partners at the correct time and in the right quantities.

This is a customer-facing planning role covering demand planning, replenishment planning, inventory review, production planning, and new product introduction. You will assess customer demand, spot supply chain risks, and provide practical guidance on inventory, replenishment, and purchasing decisions.

The position follows a hybrid work model and requires regular visits to the customer’s central Auckland office and CEVA’s Wiri warehouse, typically one day at each location every two weeks. Reimbursement is available for applicable parking and kilometre costs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create demand, replenishment, and fulfilment plans for multiple retail and distribution channels.
  • Review demand patterns, inventory movements, safety stock, available stock, and distribution centre inventory levels.
  • Assist with promotional forecasting, seasonal demand, and new product launches, including constrained allocation and first-wave channel fills.
  • Work with warehouse and production teams to align production plans with customer priorities and delivery timelines.
  • Keep track of inventory health and recommend actions to reduce stock-outs, excess stock, slow-moving items, and supply risks.
  • Advise the customer on stock levels, replenishment needs, and purchase planning.
  • Maintain regular updates on stock status, production progress, ETAs, operational concerns, and emerging risks.
  • Investigate performance gaps, identify root causes, and partner with stakeholders to implement recovery and improvement actions.
  • Monitor agreed actions and provide status updates until operations return to stable performance.
  • Build strong working relationships with retail operations, supply chain planning teams, and CEVA’s warehouse, production, and planning functions.

Candidate Profile

To succeed in this role, you should bring solid supply chain planning experience, ideally across demand, replenishment, inventory, or production planning.

You should have a practical understanding of demand planning, safety stock, distribution centre inventory, warehouse operations, and product availability. Experience supporting several retail, sales, or distribution channels in a fast-moving or high-SKU environment will be valuable.

Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capability are essential. Experience with ERP, inventory, or planning platforms is also important; JDE or Blue Yonder experience would be an advantage.

You will need excellent customer orientation, stakeholder management, and communication skills, along with the ability to influence others without direct authority. Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills, combined with a continuous improvement mindset, are also required.

Additional Requirements

Shortlisted candidates will need to provide evidence of their right to work, suitable professional referees, and will also be asked to complete a medical assessment and a national police check.

Benefits

  • Wellbeing support through the CEVAwell program, Employee Assistance Program, Volunteer Time Off, and Life & Total Permanent Disability Insurance.
  • Flexible work arrangements, including hybrid and remote options.
  • Career development support such as secondment and internal mobility opportunities, study assistance, leadership and mentoring programs, access to MyLearning with 1,000+ online courses, early career pathways, and more.
  • Financial and lifestyle benefits including partner discounts, novated leasing, annual safety workwear reimbursement, employee referral incentives, service recognition, and short-term incentive plans.
