Position overview
At the University Hospital of Würzburg, this role supports the organisation and ongoing development of a dual bachelor’s programme in nursing science. It combines academic coordination, student support, teaching support, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders in a research- and practice-oriented environment.
Key duties
- Take responsibility for the coordination, course planning, and further development of the dual bachelor’s programme in nursing science.
- Provide subject-matter advice, guidance, and day-to-day support to students, prospective students, and teaching staff.
- Organise, deliver, and ensure the quality of lectures, practice-based supervision, and examinations.
- Contribute actively to curriculum development, cooperation between learning sites, outreach activities, and admissions procedures.
- Help establish and run a nursing simulation laboratory.
- Build and maintain networks within the faculty and hospital, as well as with external locations and practice partners connected to the programme.
- Support research projects and scientific publications, with the option to pursue further academic qualification.
Profile and qualifications
- Completed university degree at master’s, diploma, or equivalent level in health sciences/public health, nursing science, nursing education, medical education, educational science, or a similar field.
- Completed vocational training in nursing.
- Strong motivation to work with students, practice partners, and professionals from different disciplines.
- Knowledge of quantitative and/or qualitative research methods.
- Good communication skills, teamwork, organisational ability, and flexibility.
