Role overview
HealthOne Alliance is seeking a Senior HR Generalist to manage day-to-day HR operations and provide dependable support to the HR function, business leaders, and employees. This role centers on applying HR policies and procedures consistently while helping drive a positive employee experience across the organization.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee and support core HR programs such as benefits administration, leave management, employee relations, performance and talent management, recognition, employee morale, occupational health and safety, and learning and development.
- Guide onboarding and new-hire processes so employees have a smooth and well-organized start.
- Partner with leaders during performance reviews by advising on effective practices that fit HealthOne’s cultural approach.
- Lead goal-setting and career development conversations.
- Work with managers and employees to create performance improvement plans when needed.
- Spot training needs and coordinate training opportunities for employees.
- Encourage ongoing learning and capability building across teams.
- Coach and support leaders as they develop their team members.
- Act as a go-to resource for employee questions related to compliance, workplace policies, pay and benefits, performance, growth, and workplace interactions.
- Compile and review HR data for leadership reporting, trend analysis, and business improvement efforts.
- Support employee benefits administration and plan selection activities.
- Help with audits and compliance reporting, including I-9 audits, EEO-1 submissions, and payroll audits.
- Keep HR files, records, and documentation current, accurate, and compliant.
- Provide clear guidance to applicants and employees regarding company procedures and policies with strong customer-service standards.
- Maintain HRIS records to support data integrity and operational efficiency.
- Complete and validate Form I-9 documentation in line with employment eligibility requirements.
- Prepare and update job descriptions and job postings.
- Handle administrative duties such as meeting and interview scheduling and processing employee change forms.
- Support employee separation processes by preparing required documentation and ensuring records are complete.
- Contribute to research tasks and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline is preferred, although equivalent professional experience may also be considered.
- At least 5–7+ years of experience in an HR Generalist or similar capacity.
- Hands-on Workday experience is strongly preferred.
- HR certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR is strongly preferred.
- Must be able to manage confidential information carefully and exercise good judgment when handling sensitive matters.
