Software Engineer - SmallWorld

Role Summary

Tata Consultancy Services is hiring a Software Engineer with hands-on experience in GE SmallWorld technologies. The position focuses on building and supporting GIS solutions using the Smallworld product ecosystem and Magik programming. This is a full-time onsite role, with openings across Hyderabad, Chennai, Noida, and Bengaluru.

Technical Requirements

The role calls for practical experience with the latest Smallworld product suite, including PNI and Electric Office. Candidates should also be comfortable working with Magik and have exposure to related platforms and tools such as Core SW4, SW5, EO, GDO, GTO, GSS, GSA, DM, MES, NRM, K8, SWMFS DBA, VMDS, SQL, Oracle, and Java. A working knowledge of C++ is an added advantage.

Role Expectations

The selected candidate will contribute to analysis, design, development, implementation, coding, and testing activities using Magik programming. The job also involves delivering GIS-based solutions built on the Smallworld suite of products.

Education and Experience

A degree such as B.E., B.Tech, MCA, or M.S. in IT from a reputed institution is preferred. The position requires at least 3 years of relevant experience.
