About the team

The Developer & End-user Experience Platform team builds the systems that connect Stripe with its users. This includes the large-scale dashboard and mobile app used by merchants, identity and access management tools, developer-focused APIs, AI-powered product experiences, and other platform capabilities that improve usability and speed across the company. The team places a strong emphasis on quality, design, and impact at scale, and offers new graduates a chance to grow quickly while contributing to meaningful user outcomes.

Role overview

This position is intended for candidates who can begin full-time before October 1, 2026. The 2027 hiring cycle will open in September. The team values full ownership of projects from start to finish, early release of prototypes and betas, and building useful software that is shared back with the broader community when appropriate.

What you will do

• Partner with engineers across functions on shared projects and product initiatives.
• Review code and technical approaches, offering thoughtful feedback.
• Help keep the systems your team owns reliable, performant, and able to scale with user demand.
• Develop the ability to lead a project end to end, including planning, coordination, and technical decision-making.

Minimum qualifications

Applicants should meet the baseline requirements to be considered. Candidates who satisfy the minimum criteria are encouraged to apply, while preferred qualifications are considered an added advantage rather than a requirement.

• Availability to start working full-time before October 1, 2026.
• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a closely related field completed by summer 2026, or equivalent practical experience.
• No more than 18 months of professional experience for new graduate candidates, excluding internship experience.
• Some exposure to programming through coursework, personal projects, or similar work. The team primarily uses Java, Ruby, JavaScript, Scala, and Go, though candidates can learn new languages if they have strong fundamentals.
• Experience from internships or collaborative multi-person coding projects in academic or professional settings.
• Ability to study unfamiliar systems independently and build understanding through research, mentorship, and input from subject matter experts.

Preferred qualifications

• Deeper knowledge in one or more areas, balanced with broad engineering fundamentals, such as frontend technologies or how an HTTP request is handled by a service.
• Experience with code review processes and safe production system updates.
• Comfort working in and navigating large codebases.

Work arrangement

Office-assigned employees in most locations are expected to spend at least 50% of each month in the local office or with users. This may vary by role, team, and location. Some locations and teams have different expectations: Stripe Delivery Center roles in Mexico City, Bengaluru, and Dublin are fully office-based. Hiring managers will clarify any team-specific on-site requirements. The arrangement is designed to balance in-person collaboration with flexibility.

Pay and benefits

The annual base salary range for the primary location is CA$106,400 to CA$159,600. This range may differ by location and can be discussed during the interview process. The final offer may vary based on experience, qualifications, and location, and may reflect multiple career levels. Additional compensation or benefits may include equity, company bonus or commissions, retirement plans, health benefits, and wellness stipends.
