Position Summary
The Social Media Coordinator will be a hands-on member of the brand and engagement function, representing the brand across social channels and managing everyday community interactions. This person will handle direct messages, influencer outreach, and incoming questions so that replies are prompt, considerate, and consistent with the brand’s voice. The role is focused on building confidence in the brand, encouraging advocacy, and strengthening relationships with creators, influencers, and customers through personal, one-to-one communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily review and reply process for DMs, comments, and mentions across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, and other growing social channels.
- Help circulate user-generated content by promptly resharing brand-appropriate Instagram Story mentions and TikTok UGC.
- Contribute to influencer program execution by supporting outreach, coordination, and tracking of results.
- Monitor platform trends closely and suggest timely content opportunities and viral formats the brand should consider joining.
- Partner with the Integrated Marketing team to help plan social content tied to major launches, collaborations, and partnerships.
- Work alongside the creative team and assist with organizing and maintaining digital assets.
- Act as the first response contact for partnership, creator, influencer, and collaboration questions arriving through DMs or other social channels.
- Reply to community questions, concerns, and feedback with speed, empathy, and brand alignment.
- Escalate sensitive matters involving customers, public relations, or experience issues to the right internal teams.
- Keep the brand’s voice steady and recognizable while adapting responses to the tone and expectations of each platform.
- Develop stronger connections with creators, influencers, and brand advocates through continuous social engagement.
- Spot repeat questions, sentiment patterns, and recurring community themes to improve messaging, FAQs, and content opportunities.
- Share community learnings and feedback with marketing, creative, PR, and customer experience partners on a regular basis.
- Help refine community management processes, response standards, and inbox practices to improve efficiency as engagement grows.
- Manage content scheduling for Facebook and Pinterest.
- Experience using Dash Social, Meta Business Manager, and Lefty is considered an advantage.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a similar discipline, or comparable experience.
- Between 1 and 3 years of experience handling social media communities, especially DM engagement and quick-response communication.
- Customer service experience is a plus.
- Availability to work weekends and evenings is required.
- Prior experience managing influencer, creator, or partnership inquiries through social platforms.
- Excellent written communication with a strong sense of brand voice and audience differences.
- Strong organizational ability.
- Solid knowledge of major and newer social platforms, including their community expectations and norms.
- Ability to think quickly, make good judgments, and communicate clearly in fast-paced social settings.
- Very organized, proactive, and comfortable handling large volumes of incoming messages.
- Ability to work from the office at least three days each week.
- This is a non-exempt, overtime-eligible role, with overtime paid according to applicable federal and state wage rules.
- The annual pay may vary based on experience, qualifications, skill level, and internal equity considerations.

Compensation
The salary range for this position is $55,000 to $60,000 per year.
