Role overview
This position is responsible for creating and managing service repair quotations for customers, while also handling customer questions and requests in a professional and timely manner.
Key responsibilities
- Build the tools, structure, and resources needed to produce fast and accurate service repair quotations for branch customers.
- Research parts and estimate labour time when preparing repair quotes.
- Create and maintain supporting resources such as quote standards within the business system, customer quote templates, labour-time reference data, and parts lookup workflows.
- Reply to customer enquiries by phone or electronic channels with prompt, courteous service.
- Follow up with customers and address technical questions as needed.
- Plan the rollout approach for additional service branches.
- Partner closely with the technical team to support service quote development and delivery.
Candidate profile
The ideal applicant has a college diploma or post-secondary education and at least 2 years of relevant experience in service, parts, supply chain, or product support operations. Familiarity with heavy equipment or truck and coach industries is considered an advantage. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, is required.
