Vistas Global is looking for an experienced IT Project Manager Consultant to oversee a set of strategic technology initiatives in the banking and financial services space. Key responsibilities

You will manage a portfolio of IT projects and make sure each one moves smoothly from kickoff to completion. The work includes defining scope, objectives, schedules, milestones, and expected outputs, then ensuring delivery stays within agreed time and budget limits.

A major part of the role is relationship management. You will work closely with business units, IT teams, sponsors, and leadership to keep everyone aligned, communicate clearly across groups, and translate business needs into deliverables.

You will also coordinate with vendors, consultants, and other third parties, track contractual commitments, and ensure service levels and deadlines are met. In addition, you will identify risks, manage scope changes, maintain governance discipline, and support audit and regulatory expectations.

The role requires structured project reporting, including initiation documents, project plans, status updates, risk logs, and closure documentation. You will monitor progress, escalate issues early, and provide regular updates to senior management.

Cross-functional coordination is essential, including collaboration with infrastructure, application, security, business, and vendor teams. You will also oversee budget tracking, resource planning, cost control, confidentiality, security compliance, team leadership, and support for team growth.

Required qualifications

A bachelor’s degree is required in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or another related discipline. A master’s degree or MBA is preferred.

The role calls for at least 8 years of experience in IT project management, ideally with strong exposure to banking and financial services and a solid record of delivering enterprise-level technology projects.

PMP certification is mandatory. Helpful additional credentials include PRINCE2, Agile or Scrum certifications, ITIL, and banking technology certifications.
