Security Supervisor

Overview

Our client is a major pharmaceutical business in Ghana and is looking for a practical, hands-on Security Supervisor to join its Accra office while overseeing daily operations in Tema.

Key accountabilities

• Help maintain a safe and protected environment for employees and visitors through proactive security measures.
• Oversee controlled access and specialized protection for restricted spaces such as cold rooms, storage areas, and inventory zones; safeguard all keys and keep them confidential and secure.
• Carry out or supervise searches of vehicles, bags, containers, bodies, finished goods, raw materials, tools, scrap, and any company property to prevent unauthorized removal from the site.
• Support the rollout of security controls across assigned facilities and take the lead during emergency evacuations involving staff and visitors.
• Assist the Head of Security by immediately reporting any crime, incident, suspected incident, or attempted incident; confiscate items found during checks, arrest offenders where required, and prepare clear reports with all facts and evidence.

Qualifications and experience

Applicants are expected to have at least a high school qualification or an equivalent credential, along with formal security training. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position is required.
