About the Role
Steele Auto Group is looking for an energetic Sales Representative to join the flagship Steele Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, and Cadillac location in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. This position is centered on helping customers choose the right vehicle while developing a rewarding career with strong income potential.
The company emphasizes a people-first culture where each interaction is meant to create a positive impact. In this role, you will work with customers throughout their buying journey and contribute to a fast-paced, high-traffic sales environment.
Compensation
This position offers uncapped commission earnings, with the possibility of making more than $100,000 per year.
Key Responsibilities
Your day may involve customer follow-ups, vehicle demonstrations, test drives, and closing deliveries. The role combines relationship management, product knowledge, and sales execution.
- Develop and maintain relationships with both prospective and repeat customers
- Support guests as they move through vehicle selection and purchase decisions
- Present vehicles and arrange test drives
- Respond quickly to leads and customer enquiries
- Keep up to date on Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, and Cadillac models, features, and technology
- Coordinate with finance and leadership teams to deliver a strong customer experience
- Use digital channels, social media, and personal connections to expand your sales reach
- Meet and exceed assigned sales goals consistently
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate is confident, driven, and comfortable turning conversations into business opportunities. Experience in automotive sales is preferred, along with the ability to earn trust and communicate effectively.
- At least 1 year of automotive sales experience is preferred
- Ability to quickly build rapport and develop customer trust
- Strong verbal communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-driven, competitive, and focused on results
- Valid driver’s licence with an acceptable driving abstract
