Similarweb is hiring a Sales Development Representative for the Greater China market. In this position, you will engage with both inbound and outbound prospects from the free product, then help convert those interactions into qualified opportunities for the sales team. The role reports to the Director of Sales Development, APJ.
This position does not include sponsorship support.

The company receives a large volume of inbound leads through its free offering, and many prospects still need help understanding how Similarweb’s marketing intelligence tools can benefit their business. You will be the first point of contact for many of these prospects, helping demonstrate value through relevant insights and data. The meetings you create and the relationships you build will have a direct impact on the sales pipeline.

Key responsibilities
Your work will focus on qualifying prospects and creating sales opportunities through a mix of communication channels and collaboration with other teams.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls, chats, and contact-form responses to identify prospects who may benefit from Similarweb’s digital intelligence solutions.
- Research and share relevant data and insights that clearly show the value of Similarweb’s platform.
- Present findings to prospects verbally or by email.
- Generate a target number of meetings between prospects and sales managers to support pipeline growth.
- Work with the marketing team to plan and run campaigns that highlight the value of the company’s insights for registered users.
Required profile
The ideal candidate is motivated to build a future in tech sales and can work effectively in a fast-paced customer-facing environment.
- Fluent English and Mandarin are mandatory.
- Strong relationship-building skills and a solid work ethic are essential.
- Prior experience in customer-facing roles or marketing is an advantage.
- Experience using Salesforce is an added advantage.
- Availability to work Monday to Friday is required.
- Knowledge of an additional language is considered a plus.
