ജോലി വിവരണം
The Company
This role sits within a well-established food manufacturing business that operates across regional Australia and New Zealand. The organisation runs multiple sites and is still expanding, with a strong emphasis on people, community, and a workplace culture built on shared values. It is an opportunity to join a growing team where employees are viewed as an important part of the company’s long-term success.
The Role
This is a practical, site-based safety position focused on strengthening safety behaviours and systems across the business’s expanding operations. You will work closely with site leaders and production teams to support safe working practices, ongoing improvement, and compliance with workplace health and safety requirements.
- Work alongside site leaders and team members to build a preventive safety mindset throughout everyday operations.
- Carry out inspections, assess workplace risks, and investigate incidents, making sure corrective actions are implemented effectively.
- Assist in creating and updating WHS policies, procedures, and training resources.
- Offer advice on hazard control, safe work methods, and permit-to-work processes.
- Deliver inductions, toolbox talks, and focused training sessions for employees at all levels.
- Track compliance with WHS laws, internal expectations, and external audit obligations.
- Partner with maintenance and production teams to identify improvements in processes and reduce risk exposure.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives designed to lower incidents and strengthen safety results.
- Prepare WHS reporting and help site leadership act on preventative measures.
Your Background
To succeed in this role, you should bring several years of experience in a WHS or Safety Advisor position, along with solid capability in risk management, incident investigation, and regulatory compliance. You will need to communicate confidently, build strong working relationships, and take a practical, hands-on approach that supports coaching and employee engagement. A Certificate IV or Diploma in Work Health and Safety is required, and a genuine interest in continuous improvement and positive safety culture is important.
What’s on Offer
- The chance to make a real contribution within a growing business that is guided by strong values.
- Leadership that encourages initiative, teamwork, and ongoing improvement.
- Exposure to a diverse manufacturing environment with significant growth plans.
- A competitive salary package and the potential for long-term career development.
