Role overview

Techversant is looking for a seasoned Python Team Lead who can architect and deliver scalable, high-performance AI-enabled applications using modern Python, cloud, and machine learning technologies. This role calls for strong Python engineering expertise, leadership capability, and the ability to coach and support team members effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Design technical solutions that align with different client needs and business goals.
• Review project scope and prepare effort estimates with accuracy.
• Build and maintain production-grade Python applications, with more than two years of hands-on coding experience at scale.
• Develop software that meets unit testing expectations and fits well into Agile and test-driven workflows.
• Lead the handling of software, code, and modules in production environments.
• Work independently or collaboratively within development teams as required.
• Apply Agile development practices throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Preferred technical profile

• Over 6 years of strong experience in Python development, including Django, Flask, or Scrapy.
• Working knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Comfort with web technologies including HTML5, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Exposure to frontend frameworks such as ReactJS or Angular.
• Experience working on Linux-based environments.
• Understanding of application deployment architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Docker.
• Kubernetes exposure will be an added advantage.
• Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins and Git-based workflows, is a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or DigitalOcean.
• Use of source control tools, with Git preferred.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
• A proactive, self-driven, and well-organized working style.
