Project Manager

About the Role

This position is for an experienced Project Manager who can steer projects from early planning to final delivery. The role calls for someone who can keep execution on track, bring different teams together, manage timelines and budgets, handle risks proactively, and make sure work is completed safely, within scope, and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide projects through every phase, starting from initiation and continuing until handover and closure.
• Build detailed project plans, timelines, cost estimates, and staffing/resource plans.
• Liaise with internal teams, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders to keep work aligned.
• Track project status closely and ensure milestones are delivered as planned.
• Spot potential risks early and put practical mitigation measures in place.
• Oversee budgets and maintain control over project spending.
• Draft routine progress updates and share status reports with senior leadership.
• Make sure all work follows company rules, quality expectations, and health and safety standards.
• Address project roadblocks and contribute to ongoing process and performance improvements.

Qualifications

The role is suited to candidates with a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a closely related discipline, along with at least 5 years of project management experience. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder-handling abilities are essential, as are solid planning and organization skills. Experience managing several projects at once and working with cross-functional teams is important. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools is expected. A PMP certification would be considered a plus.
