About the Role
R8 Technologies is a global proptech company expanding its award-winning R8 Digital Operator, an AI-driven SaaS platform designed to cut building energy use, lower CO2 emissions, and help facility teams focus on higher-value work. The company is offering a Project Engineer opportunity for candidates based in Germany. This is a fully remote position.
In this role, you will support the rollout of AI-powered software into real estate portfolios across different markets. The R8 Digital Operator Jenny is a data-led AI solution that helps properties reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions quickly. Your work will contribute directly to climate change mitigation over both the short and long term.
Responsibilities
- Lead the integration of AI-based software into real estate portfolios worldwide.
- Support the deployment of the R8 Digital Operator across property assets.
- Work on initiatives that improve energy efficiency and reduce CO2 output.
- Coordinate with stakeholders and team members to ensure successful project execution.
What We’re Looking For
To do well in this position, you should bring mid- to senior-level experience in HVAC, energy efficiency, or building automation. You also need strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with others. The role requires someone who can work independently with minimal guidance and communicate confidently in both English and German.
- Mid- to senior-level background in HVAC, energy efficiency, or building automation.
- Strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Self-directed approach with the ability to operate under limited supervision.
- Fluency in English and German.
