Production Technician (Tuas)

What the role involves

• Keep the unit supplied with the required feedstock.
• Take samples correctly and in a way that reflects the production run accurately.
• Ensure packing remains consistent and even throughout the run.
• Take part in plant safety and first-aid initiatives and maintain a strong safety mindset.
• Keep the control room and production area clean and orderly.
• Attend safety discussions and contribute safety improvement ideas regularly.
• Follow safety rules, spot possible workplace risks, and report unsafe conditions promptly.
• Carry out assigned duties under ISO systems and support related processes.
• Handle additional tasks given by the Production Shift Supervisor.

Requirements

• GCE O Level qualification with at least 3 years of industrial experience.
• Completed a supervisory course.
• Completed first aid training.
• Completed Safety Committee Members training.
• Completed a forklift driving course.
• Trained in Work at Height for Supervisors.
• Trained in SIC Manhole for Supervisors.
• Good understanding of process control parameters for catalyst manufacturing and regeneration work.
• Able to perform in-process quality checks such as LOI, length inspection, carbon/sulfur analysis, PSD checks, and similar tests.
• Open to working in Tuas on an 8-hour rotating shift schedule.
• Must be willing to take on other duties as needed.
