Role overview
This is a full-time porter opening with a growing Texas-based business that supports the oil and gas sector. The position plays an important part in keeping a manufacturing site clean, orderly, and safe so day-to-day operations can run smoothly.
The employer offers a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, hourly pay of $17 to $18, and profit sharing for all employees. There is also room for advancement within the company.
What you will do
- Check the facility regularly and help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Use hand tools and power tools for cleaning and maintenance tasks as needed.
- Keep tools and equipment in good condition and carry out minor fixes when required.
- Support the setup and removal of production equipment.
- Gather waste and dispose of it safely and in an environmentally responsible way.
- Follow workplace health, safety, and PPE requirements at all times.
- Report risks, damage, or other concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
- Help with inventory tasks, including receiving and storing supplies.
- Take on additional duties as assigned and assist other teams when needed.
