What You Will Do

As a Pool Attendant, you will help keep the pool and recreation area clean, safe, and welcoming. You will contribute to a lively and comfortable atmosphere for guests while supporting daily recreational operations.

• Clean the pool deck by washing, mopping, and maintaining the area to company standards.
• Set a warm, upbeat tone for guests using a friendly and enthusiastic approach.
• Monitor activity in the recreation area and respond correctly if an emergency occurs, following local procedures.
• Enforce recreation facility rules and help prevent unsafe participation in activities.
• Support injured guests until emergency medical services arrive.
• Collect, fold, and stack towels in line with company procedures.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to a manager.
• Complete required safety training and certifications.
• Follow company policies, protect confidential information, maintain a professional appearance, and safeguard company property.
• Greet guests in line with company service standards, respond to their needs, and assist guests with disabilities when needed.
• Communicate clearly and professionally, build positive working relationships, and meet quality standards.
• Read information carefully, inspect tools and equipment for defects, and use computers or POS systems to record or retrieve work-related information.
• Handle physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 pounds, moving across slippery or uneven surfaces, and bending, twisting, reaching, and stooping as needed.
• Carry out any other duties reasonably assigned by management.

Qualifications

The preferred educational background is a high school diploma or GED equivalent. No prior related work experience or supervisory experience is required.

Certifications and Compliance

You must hold CPR certification and first aid certification. Certification or training related to fitness equipment is also required, along with any additional licenses or training mandated by local or state authorities.
