Role overview
WSP is seeking a Planner to join its Wellington team in New Zealand. This role sits within a planning group that supports a broad mix of clients with technical advice across the full planning lifecycle. The work spans early-stage strategy and policy input, development approvals, consenting, and monitoring after consent has been granted.
The position is part of a wider organisation focused on delivering meaningful outcomes through infrastructure and community-focused projects. You will be working with a team of specialists, advisors, and communicators who collaborate closely to deliver practical and high-quality planning solutions.
What you will do
- Support complex development proposals through each stage of the planning process.
- Contribute to strategy and policy work as well as consenting activities.
- Assist with post-consent monitoring and related technical planning tasks.
- Work on projects linked to critical infrastructure and community outcomes.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver professional planning advice.
