Role overview
In this People Partner role for gTech Ads, you will work with business leaders to strengthen teams, support people decisions with data, and help maintain Google’s culture and values. The position is based in Bengaluru, with the option to choose a preferred working location from Hyderabad, Bengaluru, or Gurugram.
What you will do
- Help leaders and teams navigate organizational change by building and executing end-to-end people plans.
- Communicate people strategies clearly and support the rollout of organizational changes that advance business objectives.
- Convert company-level Objectives and Key Results into practical actions suited to the needs of the client organization, while surfacing gaps and improvement areas.
- Spot talent shortages, structural issues, and workforce needs that may affect strategy execution, and use those insights to shape hiring and development plans.
- Support talent selection and growth initiatives, while improving organizational health through ongoing trend analysis.
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent hands-on experience.
- At least 12 years of experience as an HR business partner or HR generalist supporting leaders in global organizations.
- Background in organizational effectiveness, including workforce planning and organizational design.
Preferred qualifications
- Knowledge of current and future HR processes needed to continuously improve people policies and talent practices.
- Ability to build agreement among internal and external stakeholders, including executive leaders, around new ideas and strategies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills across different audiences, settings, and situations.

The team focuses on attracting, developing, and retaining exceptional Googlers, and works as a trusted partner to business leaders. The role emphasizes coaching, handling employee relations issues, supporting development programs, and ensuring that people decisions are transparent, data-informed, and people-first.
