Role overview
A nonprofit organization operating in the education and management publishing space is looking for a part-time Executive Assistant / HR Coordinator to assist the CHRO. The assignment is based onsite in Brighton, MA, and is structured as a flexible 25-hour workweek, generally Monday through Thursday with a possibility of Friday mornings. This is a contract role expected to run for 3+ months and is offered at $25 to $33 per hour.
Key responsibilities
- Handle the CHRO’s calendar and scheduling needs, including coordination across meetings and priorities.
- Organize executive interview scheduling with a responsive, candidate-centered approach.
- Support day-to-day HR administration as needed.
- Carry out large-volume data entry with a high level of accuracy.
- Prepare clear, polished email communications in a professional tone.
- Monitor action items and follow through to keep tasks moving and completed on time.
Candidate profile
- Background in an executive assistant, HR coordinator, or general administrative support position.
- Some familiarity with HR workflows, including onboarding paperwork and related processes.
- Strong written communication skills, especially for professional email correspondence.
- Very organized, attentive to detail, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Able to work with confidential and sensitive information carefully and discreetly.
- Experience using calendars, scheduling tools, and virtual meeting platforms such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
Additional information
This opportunity is a 3+ month contract assignment with an onsite requirement in Brighton, MA. The weekly schedule is flexible at approximately 25 hours, primarily across Monday through Thursday, with some Friday morning availability possible.
