Role overview
We are seeking a careful, hands-on, and collaborative Operations Team Member to support the day-to-day running of the store in Denbury. This position is suited to someone who enjoys working in the background to keep operations on track, values strong standards, and wants to contribute to a business that serves rural communities.
Employment details
This is a permanent or temporary opportunity. The role may be offered as full-time or part-time, with 15 hours per week arranged across 3 agreed days.
Key duties
You will help maintain stock accuracy, product availability, and overall compliance standards while working closely with the wider team to keep the store safe, tidy, and ready for customers.
- Carry out stock counts, gap scans, and replenishment picklists accurately and within deadlines.
- Take in deliveries and look into any differences between orders and invoices.
- Help keep stock records accurate and support inventory control.
- Follow health and safety, food hygiene, and legal requirements, including NOPS, FIAS, and HACCP.
- Assist with banking tasks and check daily reports for irregularities.
- Re-stock shop and yard areas in line with company standards.
- Support promotional activity and visual merchandising plans.
- Maintain a clean, well-presented site.
- Assist customers at the till when needed.
