Role overview

This position plays an important part in improving how merchandise is presented and making sure visual presentation standards are met. The role uses practical technical skills in a busy store environment and contributes to a smooth customer experience and an orderly sales floor.

Key duties

• Build and take down product displays based on seasonal changes, new stock arrivals and inventory levels
• Place merchandise in line with planograms and the store’s visual merchandising rules
• Make sure overhead inventory is brought down onto shelves, price labels are positioned correctly, and items are faced forward when needed
• Welcome customers in a polite, professional manner and direct them to the appropriate store staff when specialized help is needed
• Keep the aisles neat and easy to navigate so products remain accessible and the store stays organized
• Handle other store support tasks as required to keep daily operations running smoothly

What the employer is looking for

• Familiarity with basic tools such as hand tools, drills and saws is an advantage
• Ability to organize and prioritize daily work effectively
• Capability to lift and move heavy items using proper equipment
• Forklift experience is considered an asset
• Comfort using web-based computer applications to complete assigned tasks
• Basic math ability, including addition and subtraction
• Availability to work Monday to Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
