Mower Operator (Premier Parks)

About the Role

Green by Nature is looking for a Mower Operator to support the upkeep of Premier Parks across the Queenstown Lakes District. The work sits within a wider parks and greenspace maintenance operation that helps keep Queenstown and nearby areas clean, well-presented, and thriving in partnership with the local council.

Key Duties

• Carry out planned mowing across Premier Parks in the Queenstown Lakes District, maintaining a consistently high standard of grass care.
• Complete weed-eating, edging, and other general maintenance tasks to keep park areas neat and well maintained.
• Look after equipment through regular routine checks and basic maintenance so machinery stays in good working order.
• Maintain parks to a presentation standard that aligns with client requirements and quality expectations.

What We’re Looking For

Green by Nature wants an experienced outdoor maintenance professional who is comfortable working in a hands-on role and takes pride in quality presentation. The ideal person will have practical mower operating experience, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to contribute positively to the team.

Additional Information

This position offers guaranteed hours, with the option for additional work when operational needs increase. The company reviews pay annually and provides a wellness benefit after the qualifying period, along with a work phone that may be used personally.
