Department Overview

You will join the Strategy team within Motorola Solutions’ international business, which operates across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific, and Latin America. This function supports more than US$1 billion in annual sales and plays a key role in strategic planning, market intelligence, market research, business positioning, and share analysis.

Role Summary

This full-time internship is based in Berlin, Germany and runs for one year, with a planned start in mid-August 2026. The position is designed to give you hands-on exposure to market evaluation, competitor tracking, and strategic decision support in a large multinational environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support active strategy projects, with a strong focus on competitive intelligence.
• Prepare and share a weekly update on newly available public tenders relevant to the industry.
• Review market reports, data inputs, and other market information to help build quarterly performance analysis comparing Motorola Solutions with its competitors.
• Conduct desk research that supports market intelligence and growth-related initiatives.
• Take part in Strategy team discussions and decisions to gain a broader understanding of how strategy is developed and executed in a large business.

Required Profile

• A bachelor’s degree or higher in business, management, economics, finance, or engineering is expected; a master’s degree is an added advantage.
• Strong interest in business analysis and market analysis work.
• Practical experience or working familiarity with MS Excel / Google Sheets for data analysis, along with an interest in working with data.
• Comfort using MS PowerPoint, MS Office tools, and Google Suite applications.
• A structured, analytical way of thinking and an interest in solving strategic business problems.
• High motivation for business and strategy topics.
• Ability to work independently, stay goal-oriented, and move tasks forward without close supervision.
• Excellent written and spoken English; knowledge of a second language is beneficial.

Additional Information

Relocation support is not offered. Travel is not required for this position. The role is listed as an intern position. There is no referral payment plan. The hiring entity is Motorola Solutions Germany GmbH.
