Role Summary

The Compound Lot Attendant is responsible for helping keep dealership vehicles prepared, arranged, and displayed to a high standard. Reporting to the Logistic Manager, the role supports both sales and service operations by maintaining vehicle readiness, keeping the lot orderly, and ensuring the site remains clean and safe.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Coquitlam, British Columbia, at 1050 United Blvd. The regular schedule runs Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The role requires year-round outdoor work in changing weather conditions.

The offered pay is $21.63 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles so they meet Dilawri’s standards for display and customer delivery.
• Wash, clean, and detail vehicles for showroom presentation or handover to customers.
• Start vehicles on a routine basis to check battery condition and recharge or boost when necessary.
• Keep vehicle inventory neatly arranged throughout the compound and lot.
• Remove debris, waste, and potential hazards from vehicle interiors, exteriors, and work areas.
• Ensure delivery lanes and access points stay clear for smooth customer pickups and handovers.
• Restock and organize tools, materials, and supplies at the end of each shift.
• Use assigned equipment carefully and in accordance with safety expectations.
• Carry out winter maintenance tasks such as snow removal, sanding, and ice clearing, including clearing snow and ice from vehicles.
• Take on other duties as directed by management to support dealership operations.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Background in automotive work, warehousing, or outdoor operations is an advantage.
• A valid British Columbia driver’s licence is required, along with the ability to provide a current driving abstract.
• Comfort working outdoors in all seasons and weather conditions.
• Strong focus on detail and a commitment to quality standards.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and walk for long periods.
• Dependable, punctual, and safety-minded.
• Must be legally allowed to work in Canada.
