The role
This opening is for a Kitchen Team Member at The Castle in Bangor, Wales. It is suited to someone with kitchen or porter experience who wants to move forward in hospitality and grow their capabilities while contributing to the venue’s success.
What you will do
- Support the preparation of food for service.
- Prepare dishes to the required standard and keep consistency for guests.
- Keep the kitchen clean, tidy, and hygienic throughout service.
- Help receive and manage deliveries.
- Assist the Head Chef with ordering, stock checks, and food hygiene tasks.
- Maintain kitchen equipment in good working condition.
- Share practical ideas to help improve kitchen performance.
- Work closely with the wider team to meet business targets.
What they are looking for
The ideal candidate should enjoy hospitality, be open to learning every day, pay close attention to detail, and be comfortable supporting the Head Chef with operational tasks. Previous experience maintaining kitchen equipment is also expected.
