ജോലി വിവരണം

About the role

Genesis is focused on shaping a better energy future for Aotearoa New Zealand, and this position contributes to that goal by helping communicate the company’s strategy, performance and market position to investors and other market participants. The role is central to building a clear, credible and engaging investor story that supports market understanding, strengthens investor confidence and contributes to long-term shareholder value.

Based in Auckland, this full-time onsite position works closely with teams across Finance, Strategy and the Executive function in a listed-company environment where accuracy, timing and stakeholder alignment are critical.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop polished investor communications such as presentation decks, briefing documents and question-and-answer materials.
  • Assist with quarterly, half-year and annual market updates, with a strong focus on accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Review financial, operational and market information to produce insights for both internal teams and external audiences.
  • Track competitor performance, industry movements and wider capital market trends.
  • Contribute to investor engagement activity, including results presentations, roadshows and investor-facing events.
  • Collaborate across the organisation to ensure market messaging remains consistent, aligned and well-supported.

What we’re looking for

The ideal candidate has experience in funds management, corporate finance or a related area, gained within a publicly listed business or a comparable environment. You should have a solid grasp of capital markets, financial analysis and disclosure obligations, along with the ability to translate complex information into clear, compelling communication.

Strong financial modelling ability, sharp attention to detail, good organisation and the capacity to juggle competing deadlines are important. We are also looking for someone who brings sound judgment, professionalism, a collaborative approach and a proactive mindset focused on growth.

Benefits

  • Southern Cross medical cover, along with life, trauma and income protection insurance.
  • Discounted electricity and gas, plus an additional 20 Power Shout hours each year.
  • Employer KiwiSaver support of up to 4% match, or 3% with the GenSaver allowance.
  • Flexible working arrangements and leave options to help balance personal and professional commitments.
  • Annual wellbeing allowance, access to the Best Doctors online service for you and your family, and other wellbeing support.
  • Career growth opportunities and a learning culture that supports development.

Additional information

Genesis places strong emphasis on safety, wellbeing, diversity, equity and inclusion. The company aims to provide a workplace where people can be themselves, feel supported, and contribute their ideas and perspectives.

The recruitment process is intended to be fair, accessible and inclusive. If you need any adjustments or accommodations during hiring, support can be provided throughout the process.

This opportunity is positioned as a meaningful role with a purpose-driven team in the energy sector, offering the chance to help shape the future of energy in New Zealand.
