ജോലി വിവരണം

Overview

OnePoint BFG Wealth Partners is looking for a detail-focused Investment Analyst to join its growing financial services team in Parsippany, New Jersey. This full-time, non-exempt role is based onsite and supports the firm’s investment operations by maintaining data accuracy, assisting with trading activity, and helping ensure portfolio activity stays aligned with firm-wide strategies.

The position is a key link between advisors, internal teams, and external partners. It plays an important part in supporting efficient portfolio administration, scalable growth, and high-quality investment solutions for clients.

What you will do

  • Manage the full set of data activities inside Unified Managed Accounts (UMAs), making sure account information remains accurate and trade instructions are carried out correctly across a fast-growing client base.
  • Perform account sleeving and place clients into suitable investment models based on analyst guidance and client objectives.
  • Build and support consistent global trading workflows so execution remains smooth and aligned with the firm’s investment approach.
  • Act as the main contact for advisors and teams on UMA-related matters, handling questions and resolving account-level issues promptly.
  • Work with Brinker Capital (Orion Advisor Solutions) to confirm trade accuracy, preserve platform integrity, and reconcile account data.
  • Carry out large block trade orders across multiple UMA strategies, including order aggregation, sleeve-level rebalancing, and allocation processes while following best execution standards.
  • Review portfolio transition work and suggest changes needed to reach target allocations within client guidelines and investment limits.
  • Track portfolio drift against model targets and coordinate rebalancing actions to keep accounts aligned with policy requirements.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree is required; majors such as Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Financial Economics, or a related discipline are preferred.
  • Fresh graduates or professionals with up to 2 years of relevant experience in investment operations, financial services, or a similar area are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong Excel skills are required, and exposure to macros, VBA, or similar tools is an advantage.
  • Working knowledge of portfolio management concepts, trading processes, and financial markets is important.
  • Experience with Orion Advisor Services or comparable portfolio platforms is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Prior exposure to block trading or UMA structures is helpful but not essential.

Skills and competencies

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability to interpret financial data and spot trends or inconsistencies.
  • High attention to detail when handling large volumes of data and trade activity.
  • Clear communication skills for explaining technical and data-related points to advisors and stakeholders.
  • Good time management and the ability to juggle multiple deadlines and priorities.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across functions and build effective working relationships.
  • Curiosity and initiative, especially around Excel, data analysis, and financial markets.
  • Adaptability to work effectively in a fast-moving, high-growth environment with changing tools and processes.

Why join us

  • Play a meaningful role in a firm whose work directly affects its growth and future direction.
  • Join a collaborative and supportive culture that values teamwork and shared success.
  • Receive a competitive compensation package along with comprehensive benefits.
  • Access ongoing learning opportunities and room for long-term career growth.
