Role overview
This trainee position offers hands-on exposure to core human resources operations within a government environment in Riyadh. The selected candidate will assist with recruitment, employee services, HR administration, and records management while supporting the day-to-day execution of HR policies and procedures.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with hiring and talent acquisition activities such as publishing vacancies, reviewing applications, arranging interviews, and staying in contact with candidates during the selection process.
- Help keep candidate records organized and ensure recruitment activity is tracked accurately in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and other hiring tools.
- Support the onboarding of new hires by preparing required documents, coordinating joining formalities, and helping with orientation sessions.
- Track employee attendance and leave information through HR systems and verify alignment with approved working hour and attendance rules.
- Help process different leave requests, including annual, sick, emergency, and other leave categories, in line with approved policies.
- Support employee lifecycle actions such as promotions, transfers, secondments, and end-of-service processing, making sure records are complete and properly filed.
- Respond to employee questions, requests, and issues in a professional manner, escalating matters when needed.
- Update and maintain employee files, including personal details, training history, compensation-related records, and benefits information.
- Prepare HR correspondence, reports, and documentation related to recruitment, employee services, and other HR tasks.
- Assist workforce planning and talent acquisition efforts by gathering and reviewing recruitment and workforce data.
- Protect the accuracy, confidentiality, and integrity of employee and candidate data stored in HR systems and databases.
- Contribute ideas and support initiatives that improve HR processes, procedures, and the employee experience.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a similar field is required.
- The opportunity is open to fresh graduates who meet the criteria for the Tamheer Program.
- Basic understanding of human resources principles and standard HR practices is expected.
- Comfort with Microsoft Office tools is needed.
- Strong written and verbal communication, along with good organization and interpersonal abilities, is important.
- The role requires professionalism in handling confidential information.
- Fluency in Arabic and working knowledge of English are required.
Program duration
The Tamheer placement runs for 6 months.
