Role Overview
Reliance Retail is hiring a Human Resources Executive in Kochi, Kerala. This is a full-time, on-site role focused on supporting store-level HR operations across hiring, onboarding, employee engagement, attendance, payroll inputs, performance support, and statutory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end recruitment for store associates, cashiers, and supervisors, including job posting, screening, and interviews.
- Manage joining formalities and onboarding, and coordinate training sessions on customer service, product knowledge, and compliance requirements.
- Serve as the primary contact for employee concerns and grievances, helping maintain a healthy workplace and reduce attrition in a retail environment.
- Track daily attendance and leave, and prepare the necessary data for payroll processing.
- Support store managers with performance reviews and the execution of improvement plans where needed.
- Maintain compliance with applicable labor regulations, including shops and establishment rules, while keeping employee records accurate and current.
Qualifications & Skills
- A bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required.
- Applicants should have 1 to 3 years of HR experience, ideally in retail, fashion, or hospitality.
- Strong verbal and written communication, along with solid interpersonal skills, is essential.
- Comfort with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office tools is expected.
- The role requires the ability to manage multiple priorities and perform well in a fast-moving environment.
Additional Information
This position involves both operational HR support and people-management coordination at the store level.
