About the Role
Smart Learn Tutoring LLC is hiring a meticulous and well-organized Human Resources Administrative Assistant to help keep the HR function running smoothly. This position is focused on day-to-day administrative coordination, employee record upkeep, recruitment support, onboarding assistance, meeting planning, and general process support. The company is looking for someone who works professionally, respects confidentiality, and enjoys contributing to employee experience and organizational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Support the HR Manager and broader HR team with administrative tasks.
- Keep personnel records and HR systems current and accurate.
- Help coordinate recruitment tasks, including interview scheduling and candidate communication.
- Assist with new hire orientation and onboarding activities.
- Draft and organize employment documents such as offer letters and onboarding forms.
- Record and monitor attendance, training completion, and certification information.
- Help with benefits administration and respond to employee questions.
- Arrange HR meetings, training events, and internal company functions.
- Protect sensitive employee and company information at all times.
- Support payroll preparation by gathering and organizing relevant employee data.
- Handle incoming HR-related questions from both internal teams and external contacts.
- Help ensure company procedures align with internal policies and applicable labor laws.
- Carry out routine office administration such as filing, scanning, entering data, and managing records.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Office Administration, or a closely related discipline.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Residence in the Washington, DC metropolitan area is required.
- Strong organization and time-management abilities.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfort using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly and discreetly.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
