HR Platform Integration/API Consultant - Workday Time, Absence and Compensation

Role Overview

FPT Software is looking for an HR Platform Integration/API Consultant to support the HR Platform 2.0 initiative inside the BCAT function, which covers Benefits, Compensation, Absence, and Time Management. This position centers on building and supporting integrations tied to these HR processes, with Workday integration development and API-based solutions as key priorities. You will work closely with Workday consultants, technical product owners, and other project stakeholders to deliver reliable integration outcomes.

What You Will Do

• Develop, support, and maintain integrations across the Workday and wider HR platform landscape.
• Create and enhance Workday integrations using Core Connector, DT, Studio, and PECI.
• Partner with technical product owners, Workday specialists, and cross-functional teams to complete integration deliverables.
• Support integration work for the Chronos project, including Workday connectivity and Shape-IN middleware for ASES, the German shift scheduling and time tracking system.
• Carry out attribute mapping and script development for newly introduced fields in Shape-IN.
• Assist with initial data loads and end-to-end data mapping activities.
• Track Shape-IN integrations and help keep operations stable and uninterrupted.
• Review newer integration approaches and tools, including APIs and orchestration technologies.
• Advise integration stakeholders on ways to improve the overall integration setup.
• Help prepare and refine business test scenarios.
• Work independently on assigned integration tasks while keeping delivery on schedule across teams.

Required Skills and Experience

• Hands-on experience with Workday integrations, especially Core Connector, DT, Studio, and PECI.
• Working knowledge of Compensation, Payroll, Time, and Absence processes.
• Experience designing and building API-driven integrations.
• Technical proficiency with API, XML, XLT, JSON, XPath, and Java exception handling.
• Understanding of Workday reporting capabilities.
