About the opportunity
The Sydney office is hiring a Graduate Project Planner (Analyst) for an entry-level consulting role. This position is designed to provide practical exposure to major projects and to support learning from experienced professionals in the field.
This role offers a pathway into consulting for someone who wants variety in their work and exposure to planning, project controls, cost management, claims and dispute resolution, and risk management. The work spans multiple industries and includes both local and international project experience.
You will assist senior consultants and project teams through research, data analysis, and the creation of client-facing deliverables. With mentoring and structured support, you will develop a strong base in project controls, scheduling, and consulting practices.
From your first day, you will work closely with senior leaders, consultants, and the broader Eastern Region and TBH network, contributing to real project work while building capability in a collaborative environment.
Key responsibilities
- Help implement project plans and support delivery activities under supervision from senior team members.
- Gather, review, and analyse project data to assist with reporting and project outputs.
- Prepare polished documentation such as reports, schedules, and presentations.
- Use project controls methods to spot issues and help shape practical solutions.
- Work with internal colleagues and outside stakeholders to support smooth project delivery.
- Assist with process improvements and carry out general administrative tasks when needed.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline such as Construction Management, Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Some exposure to project scheduling or project controls.
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Microsoft Project or Primavera P6.
- Experience with Microsoft applications is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to help prepare reports.
- Good organisation and time management, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Comfort working in a team-based, collaborative setting.
- A willingness to learn, develop, and build capability.
- A professional, dependable, and client-oriented approach.
- Curiosity, initiative, and a proactive attitude toward improvement.
