Role overview
Academia is hiring a full-time Customer Service Executive for its front desk team. The ideal person should be approachable, detail-oriented, and able to communicate clearly. This role suits someone who enjoys helping students and parents and delivering a high standard of service.
Key responsibilities
- Welcome and assist students and parents who visit the front desk.
- Answer enquiries received by phone and through online channels regarding classes, make-up lessons, instructors, curriculum details, and company policies.
- Support students and parents with enrolment and timetable adjustments by updating the student database accurately.
- Help with billing and payment matters, including credit card and bank transfer transactions.
- Manage special requests and complaints in a courteous and professional way, and escalate issues to management when needed.
- Provide ad hoc administrative help to teachers, such as printing, photocopying, and scanning documents.
- Carry out other duties assigned by management as needed.
Requirements
- Strong spoken and written English and Mandarin skills are required so you can communicate clearly with both English-speaking and Mandarin-speaking clients.
- Comfortable using computers, Microsoft Office, and other applications for customer service tasks and data updates.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing front desk or service role will be considered an advantage.
- Willing to work with two weekdays off each week.
- Salary offered is SGD 3,000 to SGD 3,500 per month.
