Freelance Presentation Designer

Role overview

Mindrift is seeking an experienced Presentation Designer for the Tendem project. The work sits inside a hybrid AI and human workflow, where AI agents take care of routine tasks and you handle the higher-level creative judgment, subject-matter sensitivity, and final presentation polish needed for impactful deliverables.

This is a part-time remote freelance opportunity suited to creative specialists with practical experience in visual communication, information design, and narrative-led slide design.

The Mindrift platform brings subject-matter experts into AI-driven projects for major technology innovators. The goal is to improve Generative AI by combining it with real-world expertise from professionals around the world.

What you will do

In this role, your focus will be on storytelling, structure, and visual hierarchy. You will turn raw information, business narratives, and complex data into persuasive presentations and one-pagers that are polished, easy to follow, and visually refined. Typical tools used in the work include PowerPoint, Keynote, Adobe Creative Suite, and Figma.

Key responsibilities

• Create high-impact pitch decks and professional one-pagers tailored to specific audiences and business goals.
• Convert dense data and layered information into clean, minimal, story-driven visuals with strong hierarchy.
• Refine presentation quality through custom typography, elegant motion, and consistent visual treatment.
• Maintain a premium style that blends corporate credibility with creative presentation design.
• Check alignment, pacing, branding, and overall visual accuracy carefully before delivery.

How to get started

Selected candidates can begin contributing after completing the required qualification steps, and the work can be done on a flexible schedule.

Requirements

Applicants should have at least 2 years of relevant experience in graphic design, presentation design, visual storytelling, or data visualization. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communications, or a related creative discipline is an advantage.

Strong command of presentation software such as PowerPoint and Keynote is expected, along with advanced capability in Adobe Creative Suite tools like Illustrator and Photoshop, or in Figma. You should also be comfortable turning complex information into simple visual structures, and working with custom fonts and smooth animations.

English proficiency at upper-intermediate level (B2) or higher is required.

Additional expectations include experience with premium corporate-meets-creative layouts, exceptional attention to detail, the ability to solve design problems independently, and a CV that includes a portfolio link showing high-end presentations, pitch decks, and data visualization examples. Applications without a portfolio link or without relevant presentation work will not be considered.

Project time expectations

During active phases, the work is estimated to take around 10 to 20 hours per week. This is only an estimate and is not a guaranteed workload.

Compensation

Contributors may earn up to the equivalent of $50 per hour depending on experience, contribution pace, and project needs. Pay may vary from one project to another based on scope, complexity, and expertise required.
